At Thickline Technologies located in Chennai, we’re continuously looking for innovative ways to improve efficiency and accuracy in our processes, especially when it comes to supporting international students aspiring to study in the United States. One significant advancement we’ve done as a proof of concept is the integration of AI-based automated signatures on PDF documents for SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) processing for our partner US Educational Institutions. The Challenges of Traditional Signature Processes

Previously, the process of obtaining and applying authorized signatures to numerous SEVIS documents was time-consuming and often involved several manual steps. This included printing documents, obtaining physical signatures from designated officials, scanning them back into the system, and ensuring the signatures were correctly placed and legible. These manual processes were prone to:

  • Delays: Physical document handling and routing could lead to significant delays, especially during peak admission periods.
  • Human Error: Mistakes in placing or verifying signatures were possible, potentially causing issues with SEVIS compliance.

During the Covid period the challenges were multifold. Thickline Technologies looked at this as an opportunity and worked on proof of concept.
